Finance Assistant - 28,000 -31,000 per year pro rata - Remote Working - Part Time - 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Do you have experience with Sage 200 accounting system? If so, an industry-leading supplier of personnel and machinery safety systems are looking for a Finance Assistant.
The successful candidate will provide support to the Financial Controller, focusing on accuracy and productivity to a high standard.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of a Finance Assistant include, but are not limited to:
Dealing with Accounts Mailbox
Recording Purchase Invoices / Employee Expenses
Matching Purchase Orders with Purchase Invoices
Reconciling Supplier Statements
Credit Control (sending statements, chasing customers via email / phone call etc.)
Sending out and posting Sales Invoices
Entering Bank Receipt
Reviewing and processing credit limit requests (Customers On-Hold Daily Update, credit checks & application, reporting customers to the insurer)
Processing Supplier Payments
Creating New Supplier / Customer accounts in Sage 200
Liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve queries
Administrating the company's Sage 200 system including inputting data, routinely monitoring the accuracy of date input and producing relevant outputs
Undertake analysis of the company's financial information and produce relevant findings / reports
Assist with any other ad-hock tasksreports
Qualifications
The key skills and qualities of a Finance Assistant:
Qualifications of A-levels or above are desired; Finance Assistant experience; Experience of Sage 200 accounting system
A high level of competence with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
Well-organised and works well with structure and process, with accuracy and minimal error; must have a keen attention to detail and respect the need for confidentiality
A confident self-starter, with the ability to work unsupervised and to use initiative; Organized yet flexible and able to prioritize varying workloads to meet demanding deadlines
Good relationship builder and ability to work in a team; The role requires an individual with a positive outgoing personality and a clear sense of customer service that represents the company in a positive and professional way
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

This role is part time, 20 hours per week (Monday-Friday).
