As an assistant within the finance department, you will be assisting the Sales Ledger Team Leader with the day-to-day tasks, i.e. Customer invoicing and credit notes, refunds etc.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Assisting the Sales Ledger Team Leader in processing invoices in a timely manner and accurate basis
Ensuring that credit notes and refunds are processed quickly and efficiently using both Sage and the company's in-house software
Uploading invoices to client portals such as Ariba, Coupa and Tungsten
Dealing with ad-hoc queries from both internal and external clients as and when they arise
Effectively communicate important information both internally and externally.
Helping with the month end processes as appropriate

Knowledge and experience of Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Confident on the phone speaking with colleagues and customers
A polite and friendly manner

Desirable Skills
A finance qualification (e.g AAT Level 2 or 3) would be an advantage but is not essential
