Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team at our Scunthorpe headquarters. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for financial accuracy. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our finance department by handling day-to-day financial tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the business. Key Responsibilities

Perform reconciliation of transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage wage runs, including processing payroll and related calculations. Handle invoicing and billing processes, preparing and issuing invoices to clients. Conduct credit control activities, including monitoring outstanding payments, chasing overdue accounts, and maintaining positive client relationships. Various administrative duties relating to Purchase Order and Customer/Supplier application forms.

Requirements

A positive "can-do" attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. High level of reliability and commitment to meeting deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Basic knowledge of finance principles or relevant experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) essential and familiarity with accounting software is a plus. GCSE Maths/English 6-9
