About the Role



We have a new and exciting opportunity for two motivated and experienced Finance Assistants to join our friendly Operations team, to support a wide range of accounting and administration tasks. These roles can be based at our modern open plan offices in either Stockton-on-Tees or Newcastle city centre.

These are busy and varied roles, and the main duties will include:

Processing day to day client related transactions

Posting client & office bank statements

Raising WIP and disbursement bills

Providing support to all legal departments

Checking and processing completion packs

Various client related reconciliations

Audit and general control reviews

Archiving and general administration duties

Adhering to Solicitor Accounting Rules

About You



Ideal candidates will have:

Prior experience in a Legal Cashier role

Excellent communicative & organisational skills

Strong analytical, numerical and reconciliation skills

The ability to work as part of a team and autonomously

A proactive approach with a willingness to take on new challenges

A strong eye for detail

The ability to pick things up quickly whilst maintaining accuracy

A strong knowledge of Excel

Flexibility to travel between both our office sites on an occasional basis, in line with the needs of the business
