Finance Associate



Permanent (37.5 hours, Monday to Friday)



Hybrid working with 3 days in the office, the rest working from home



Up to 27,000 plus benefits



About the role



We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Associate to support our Finance team with the preparation and reporting of financial data, playing a key role in audit readiness, statistical returns and regulatory compliance. Working closely with the Senior Financial Accountant, you'll ensure accurate data is delivered on time to both internal and external stakeholders, while supporting broader finance operations.

Key Responsibilities



Respond to audit requests, including assembling supporting documentation, performing reconciliations and liaising with stakeholders to ensure compliance Support consolidation of statutory accounts for group and subsidiary financial statements Support regulatory reporting to FCA and quarterly financial covenant reporting Prepare and verify financial data for submission to the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and other external bodies Maintain accurate working papers and evidence files for audit and regulatory review Ensure financial records are kept up to date and compliant with internal policies Collaborate with finance colleagues on ad hoc analysis, reporting and process improvements

About You



You hold either degree in Accounting & Finance or have already started a recognised professional qualification (e.g. ACCA) You are keen to start your ACCA qualification journey, if you're not already qualified - we'll support you to complete your remaining exams Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting processes Confident working with large volumes of data and producing accurate statistical summaries Strong attention to detail with a structured, logical approach to problem-solving Proficient in Excel Experience using financial systems or ERPs (NetSuite) beneficial though not essential A great team player with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset Eager to learn, with a flexible approach to managing multiple priorities Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude
