What you'll do
Lead the creation of management information, dashboards, and financial analysis that guide leadership and Board decisions.
Take ownership of forecasting and cashflow management, identifying risks early and recommending smart, practical actions.
Monitor and improve working capital performance, ensuring healthy debtor/creditor ledgers, and stock management.
Prepare and present budgets, forecasts, and financial models for approval -- bringing evidence, logic, and commercial insight.
Produce clear, engaging Board reports and forward-looking recommendations that drive profitability and efficiency.
Assess and recommend funding options (e.g. banking, leasing, invoice finance) to support sustainable growth.
Provide financial challenge and advice across departments, ensuring decisions are grounded in strong financial reasoning.
Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes -- especially within Xero -- to increase accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Partner with colleagues to identify cost efficiencies, improve margins, and strengthen overall business performance.

What you'll bring
Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or proven industry experience within an SME.
A strong background in forecasting, cashflow, and management reporting.
A confident communicator who can explain complex numbers simply and persuasively.
Advanced Xero skills and a passion for improving systems and processes.
A proactive, commercially minded approach with attention to detail and curiosity to improve.
The confidence to work independently, combined with the collaboration skills to influence others.
