Monitor performance against budgets, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with research and planning teams to manage income, grants, and funding streams.
Develop and improve financial reporting tools and insights for non-finance stakeholders.
Drive financial strategy in a higher education establishment.Partner with senior leaders to deliver insight and maximise value.
Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW) or qualified by experience.
Experience in management accounting, forecasting, and financial business partnering.
Background in higher education or other large, complex public sector organisations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior non-finance leaders.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into meaningful insight.
Commercially aware and proactive, with strong Excel and reporting skills.

Base salary up to 55,000 per annum.
Hybrid working - typically 2-3 days onsite.
