Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 depending on experience


Location: Hybrid (3 days WFH, Monday & Wednesday in Farringdon office)

The Opportunity




We're seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to support two of our largest and most influential functions - Commercial and IT. These teams are at the heart of our operations, driving student recruitment performance and delivering digital innovation across the Group. This is a high-impact role where you'll combine financial insight, strategic thinking, and business partnering expertise to help shape the future of GUS.

What You'll Do



Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes for Commercial and IT. Partner with senior leaders to challenge, support, and influence decision-making across the Group. Deliver monthly management reporting, analysing performance against key targets and budgets. Develop robust business cases and financial models to support new initiatives and projects. Provide insightful analysis on global recruitment and operational performance. Oversee project capex and ensure compliance with capitalisation policies. Be a trusted advisor to functional heads, driving accountability and financial excellence.

What You'll Bring



Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 4+ years PQE. Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering, ideally within complex or international organisations. Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the confidence to explain complex financials to non-finance stakeholders. Commercially astute, highly organised, and comfortable managing competing priorities. Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power Query are highly desirable. A proactive, self-motivated approach and a passion for adding real business value.
