About the role : We are looking for a professional Finance Business Partner in the London area to manage the overall financial performance of a business area looking at financial risk, revenue & costs are monitored, controlled & managed appropriately and all financial targets associated with business & operational activities The scope: You will be responsible for leading a team of finance professionals to ensure the numbers have integrity, accuracy, and consistency, alongside providing operational and commercial excellence to senior stakeholders (internal & external), delivering value add to revenue growth, margin enhancement, mitigating risks and leveraging opportunities. It is essential the Finance Business Partner has in depth knowledge on how to:

  • Account management team, the role will contribute to decision making & long-term development such that business growth & margin targets are achieved.
  • Deliver operational business partnering to stakeholders (internal/external) to drive business performance.
  • Manage, motivate, plan, direct & supervise the activities of assigned personnel, ensure staff are developed appropriately & that the finance function is resourced and skilled to meet its business obligations.
  • Identify areas of financial risk and put in place actions to manage & control or hedge risk as appropriate.
  • Manage working capital performance within business area, mitigating risks and leveraging opportunities.
  • Monitor the overall performance of a business area such that the unit meets all financial & compliance requirements of the company & meets its legal obligations.
  • Direct & co-ordinate the planning & preparation of annual & long-term capital & operating budgets, agree with senior managers & submit to group or corporate for approval.
  • Ensure management accounts & other financial data is available on an accurate, concise & up to date basis.
The ideal candidate:
  • Experience working in the FM space in a similar role.
  • Qualified ideally with 5+ years commercial & technical experience,
  • Excellent analytical skills, and an ability to understand and solve complex issues.
  • Good communicator, has excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Be an effective influencer, comfortable working in a matrix environment, with experience at a senior level.
