We value professionalism, accuracy, and a supportive team culture. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to manage and lead our internal finance processes.
Job Summary:
This is a hands-on role for a detail-focused Finance Controller with strong experience in financial operations. You'll be responsible for overseeing invoicing, payments, PAYE, CIS, credit control, and monthly reporting--working closely with our bookkeepers, external accountant, and management team. You'll also contribute to general office administration and support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily financial processes including invoicing, reconciliations, and payment allocations
Oversee PAYE, VAT, and CIS submissions in collaboration with our accountant
Handle credit control, including chasing overdue invoices
Maintain project and timesheet records for client reporting
Support general administration and office coordination
Skills Required:
We're looking for someone organised, proactive, and confident with financial systems. You should have excellent communication skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage tasks independently while working collaboratively with the team.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience in bookkeeping or finance administration
Strong understanding of PAYE, VAT, and CIS processes
Proficient in Xero, Excel, and Microsoft Office
Experience with SimPRO or similar systems is a plus
Knowledge of the electrical or construction industry is beneficial
