Finance Controller - Strategic Planning


Function: Finance

Location: London (nr. Oxford Street) or Edinburgh (St Andrew Square) a mix of office and home working


Salary: 60k - 70K + performance bonus + (depending on experience) plus 15% of base salary as a benefits allowance, in addition to full benefits listed below.


Contract: Permanent

About the Role

This is a critical role over the month-end close, Annual Plan and Strategic Plan.


Specific responsibilities include:


Overseeing and coordinating the governance cycle for monthly Rolling Forecast ("RoFo"), Annual Plan and 3 year Strategic Plan Delivering Monthly reporting to the Region on business performance and responding to ad hoc queries from the wider Finance team, UK Management Team, Group and Region on OpCo performance Project managing the Heineken Fuel for Growth capabilities through fixed cost analysis, hosting regular meetings with Functions (challenging stakeholders), benchmarking against other OpCos, reporting on Total Gross savings, planning ideation sessions and annual competition and event, as well as supporting Company wide communication strategy Monitoring Anaplan enhancements against business priorities Supporting the development of the Senior Finance Analyst

About you

We're looking for a commercially aware Qualified Accountant with a track record of managing senior stakeholders and the ability to convert financial analysis and business insight into concrete plans and strategy.


If you;


Are able to build solid relationships and influence stakeholders. Have a proactive and positive attitude. Can navigate robustly through a fluid and fast-moving commercial environment. Have a keen interest in and would like to learn more about strategic planning.
