The Role



We are seeking to recruit a Finance Coordinator to our Finance team on a Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave, based in either our Belfast or Liverpool office. The role will have a focus on Accounts Payable activities, as well as other finance related administrative activities.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working with other members of the finance team, the role will manage the delivery of a vital and high performing accounts function. Responsibilities will include matching and processing supplier invoices for payment, resolving supplier invoice and payment queries, maintaining supplier accounts up to date on the Navision system, assisting with setting up BACs files and payment runs on our online bank system, as well as other tasks within the wider finance function. This opportunity is suited to a conscientious, judicious and diligent individual who enjoys working as part of a team in a growing company. We are based in modern offices situated on West Bank Road, Duncrue, Belfast / within the Port of Liverpool, Bootle. The contract is based on a 37.5 hour week with flexibility around starting and finishing times. We offer hybrid working where the expectation is minimum 3 days per week in the office. Where the successful candidate is appointed in the Liverpool office, there will be an expectation of some travel to our Belfast site as required.

Essential Criteria



Proven numeracy and literacy skills; Experience of managing and leading a team Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word; A successful track record of excellent organisational, analytical, prioritisation and problem solving skills, e.g. able to establish a clear structure to your work to maximise the best use of your time, to manage competing priorities, and work proactively toward solutions. Ability to develop and build good working relationships with customers to ensure the smooth running of an accounts function Ability to work well with colleagues as part of a multi discipline finance team; Have an excellent and professional communication style and the ability to deal with a range of audiences
And either

A third level qualification in an accounts or business related discipline (e.g. this could be A-level, degree level, NVQ, diploma or similar);
OR

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a busy finance function with Accounts Payable management responsibility.

Desirable Criteria



Experience with Microsoft Navision / Dynamics is beneficial however full training will be provided.
