We are one of the South-West's leading event production companies, specialising in music festivals and events. We co-programme and produce a number of innovative, large-scale events (Love Saves The Day, Love International, Simple Things, Waterworks, FORWARDS and the Silver Hayes area of Glastonbury). We also run our own venue, an established cornerstone of Bristol nightlife, The Love Inn.

About This Role:



We are looking for an experienced Coordinator to support and develop the administrative functions. The Finance Assistant will play a key role in supporting the Finance Account Managers in day to day activities within the Finance Department.

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who has worked on Xero. Someone with a keen eye for detail, who has strong administrative skills, and is proficient in Excel.

Key Responsibilities:



Maintaining up-to-date, complete and accurate accounting records using Xero and Google Sheet/Excel. Process PO's in Xero and adding them to the budget Credit control. Manage warehouse rent payments and chase all unpaid invoices Weekly check of accounting software against all budget spreadsheets Maintaining hard copy records & filing Dealing with finance-related enquiries from suppliers Inbox management Build understanding & contextual knowledge - sit in on budget head conversations.

General:



Attendance at wider team meetings, review sessions and staff events, working together to refine and improve working practices, relationships and systems Assisting at other events and venues as required Undertaking training / skills development as required Attendance at industry events as required Always representing Team Love as a professional, positive, collaborative organisation that works to the highest standards Storing all information in manner compliant with data protection regulations to include management of file sharing on Google Drive Keeping all relevant information private and confidential (as laid out in contract of employment) Contribute to debriefs for every event at which you work (referring back to them in planning period for next event) Keeping abreast of industry best practice, development, innovation and initiatives Proactively contributing to the maintenance and upkeep of our shared workspaces, whether in the office or onsite This list is not exhaustive and may be added to at any time.

Skills & Experience:



Essential -

Good knowledge and experience in using Xero Proven Finance Admin experience and skills Excellent IT skills specifically in Excel and Google Docs Organised Shows initiative & self directing Collaborative team player

Role Specific Information:



The role will be based at the Team Love offices in St Werburghs. The role requires 32 hours per week, which can be done in 4 eight hour days, or as shorter days across the week depending on the needs of the successful candidate and the hiring department.

Physical Description of Work and Work Space

- The role will be largely based at a desk, using a computer, with some meetings and attendance at training. The main office space, which includes the toilets and kitchen and lunch room, are all on ground level. We also have two meeting rooms, one which is up a set of stairs, however, the other is on the ground level with the rest of the offices.
