Working with the Executive Director on oversight of Finance department and day to day financial operations.
Responsibilities:
Executive Director's support:
provide financial support and reports for the Executive Director for international projects which enhance the academic profile of ISCA.
Finance
Oversee the School's Finance Officer in day to day financial operations (student fee income, purchases, payroll).
With support from the management accounts and the Finance office prepare budgets and financial forecasting, monitoring financial performance against these.
Supported by the Finance Officer, prepare extensive financial information for the Executive Directors and Board of Directors as required.
Supported by the Finance Officer and the management accountant, oversee the preparation of the monthly management accounts for all directors
Supported by the Finance officer, ensure that all financial information is accurately recorded and submitted to the School's auditors for the yearly financial statements.
General
Carry out all duties with an awareness and understanding of the Safeguarding requirements within the area of responsibility. Work complies with all safeguarding policies and procedures that apply to the role. Behaviours and actions support the safeguarding of children and young people as appropriate.

Requirements for the role:
Accountancy qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent,
Experience in delivering financial reports in line with business needs
Experience of working with XERO
A pragmatic, hands-on approach with a solution focused mindset.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
Advanced critical thinking and data analysis skills
A strong working knowledge of relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards.
