A highly successful and growing business operating in the construction sector with multi \xc2\xa3million contracts is seeking to appoint a new Finance Director to oversee the strategic direction of the group finance function ensuring the finance function delivers reliable and compliant service to the group of companies. Your remit will include:
- Work with the Directors to ensure proper financial oversight of contracts.
- Maintain and recommend key performance indicators and ensure Senior Leadership Team have the right information to make the right decisions.
- Review and sign off management accounts prior to internal and external distribution.
- Monitor all financial controls and renew where necessary.
- Review all tax returns (VAT, PAYE, CIS, Corporation Tax) and ensure tax affairs are managed both efficiently and compliantly.
- Oversee the annual audit and manage the audit relationship.
- Review payroll operations and advise on HR matters
- Review and sign off supplier payment runs.
- Risk assessment of new suppliers to the Business.
- Research and recommend new IT systems for the Business.
- Company Secretarial duties for all group companies.
- Line manager to Accounts, HR & Payroll, Compliance, Admin and IT Teams.
