Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Director will be part of the senior Management team. Working on Analysis of key financial data in order to make solid business decisions on new ventures as well as offering mentoring and support of Finance department. The position offers autonomy and the ability to add real value very quickly in line with our company growth plans.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ensure all compliant and best practice is maintained.
Improving processes and systems within the business ? Maintaining external relationships with banks, auditor, insurance etc.
Preparation of monthly accounts.
Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department ? Assist in company-wide budgetary planning
Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line in statutory regulations and legislation
Analyse the financial climate and market trends to assist in creating strategic plans for the future
Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed
Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
Supervise financial assistants and other employees in the facilitation of day-to-day operations, including tracking financial data, invoicing, payroll, etc.
Prepare official reports on a monthly and annual basis
Seek out methods and practices to minimise financial risk
Create and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions and accountants
Update and implement financial policies and procedures
Maintain a policy manual for the finance department
Establish and implement a training program for new finance employees.
Taking ownership of the group's reporting requirements, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasts
Develop strong costing models and implement into the business to assist profitability/margin analysis Timely production of statutory reporting
Working closely with the CEO and the senior team within the business to develop aligned budgets and forecasts to drive sustainable
EXPERIENCE
Advanced degree in accounting
Must have Experience in Logistics
Business finance, several years of experience in finance
Excellent mathematical skills.
