ROLE OVERVIEW:



The Finance Director will work closely with the partnership, taking responsibility for developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company's long-term goals, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing financial risks, and overseeing accurate financial reporting. This role involves conducting financial analysis, optimizing resource allocation, and leading the finance team to foster a culture of excellence. The Finance Director also engages with external stakeholders, implements financial technology solutions, and identifies opportunities for business growth, all while maintaining robust financial policies and procedures.

Salary dependant on qualifications, knowledge, and experience

PERSON SPECIFICATION:



QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE



a) Essential



Bachelor's degree.

CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification is essential.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.

Minimum of 5 years' experience within a leadership role.

Experience within an FCA regulated business

Experience of implementing strategic financial initiatives.

b) Desirable



Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.

CIMA qualification

More than 5 years' experience in a similar role.

Experience of CASS.

Experience of operating within a partnership owned business.

Willing to undertake further continuous professional development

SKILLS and ABILITIES REQUIRED:



a) Essential



Excellent interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Demonstratable eye for detail and getting tasks right the first time.

Effective time management skills.

Ability to consistently meet deadlines.

b) Desirable



Ability to manage communications with several key stakeholders.
