VANRATH are partnered with a successful professional services firm who are currently recruiting a Finance Director to join their team for an initial period of 3 months, which could lead into a longer assignment. Due to transition within the team, the Finance Director will be responsible for reviewing the current structures within the business, working closely with the senior leadership team to implement new processes. To be considered for this role, it is essential to have extensive experience leading finance teams, along with process improvement.

About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 5+ years experience at senior level
- Excellent understanding of accounting processes and the need for appropriate controls in place
- Experience in a group setting (desirable)
- Ability to engage with and influence non-finance staff
- Strong communication skills
- Implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Working closely with senior management to improve financial processes
- Implementing finance strategy, anticipating complex issues & challenges
- Develop and deliver financial management and control systems, building annual budget, quarterly and weekly forecasts, tracking and reporting actuals
- Leading, coaching and developing a finance team
- Ensuring compliance with local market financial laws
