OPPORTUNITY
As
Finance Director - FP&A & Central Finance
, you'll lead Group budgeting, forecasting, reporting, performance management and cashflow whilst ensuring the central finance function provides robust control, accurate reporting and scalable processes that can keep pace with the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the Group budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting cycles
Providing insightful MI, KPI reporting and commentary to influence decision-making
Developing and maintaining Group financial models to support planning and scenario analysis
Leading and developing the central finance team (GL, AP, AR, payroll, month end)
Maintaining robust governance, control and accounting compliance
Driving process improvement, automation and standardisation across finance systems
Supporting M&A activity including modelling, synergy evaluation and post-deal integration
Acting as a senior business partner to divisional teams and Group executives
Deputising for the Group CFO as required
This is a strategic, hands-on role - ideal for someone who enjoys both leadership and delivery in a fast-paced environment.
PERSON
We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong FP&A experience combined with robust financial control capability. Experience in a PE-backed or multi-entity Group structure would be advantageous, as would familiarity with buy-and-build environments.
You will bring:
Proven experience in FP&A, management reporting and central finance leadership
A pragmatic, hands-on approach and strong communication skills
Confidence in influencing senior stakeholders and challenging constructively
Experience driving process improvement and standardisation
The ability to thrive in a fast-moving, evolving business
