TAL Marketing Group Limited is in a phase of rapid growth. We operate across multiple companies within a group structure and are scaling fast; new revenue lines, new entities and ambitious expansion plans.
We're now looking for a Finance Director to sit at the heart of the group: bringing financial clarity, structure and strategic insight to support growth at pace. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who enjoys building, improving and future-proofing finance functions; not just maintaining them.
You'll work closely with founders and senior leadership, acting as a trusted advisor on everything from growth planning and forecasting to statutory reporting and governance.
The Role
As Finance Director, you'll oversee the financial operations across the group, ensuring strong controls, clear reporting and forward-looking insight that supports decision-making. This is a full-time, senior leadership role, combining strategic finance with hands-on delivery. You'll be responsible for guiding the business through growth, improving financial infrastructure and ensuring year-end and statutory obligations are met smoothly across all entities.
You'll work closely with our Finance Manager, who manages the day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, and payments, providing oversight and strategic direction while ensuring operational finance runs smoothly.

Oversee finance across multiple companies within the group structure.
Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including statutory accounts and submissions.
Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate, timely financial data and reporting.
Manage relationships with external auditors and advisors.
Ensure compliance with all financial, tax and regulatory requirements.
Growth & Strategic Support
Partner with founders and leadership on growth plans, forecasting, and scenario modelling.
Build and maintain budgets, cashflow forecasts and long-term financial plans.
Provide clear financial insight to support investment, hiring, and expansion decisions.
Stress-test growth assumptions and identify risks and opportunities.
Financial Control & Process
Strengthen financial controls, reporting accuracy and governance as the group scales.
Improve systems, processes and tooling to support growth and visibility.
Oversee cash management, working capital and liquidity planning
Ensure consistent financial processes across all group entities
Leadership & Collaboration
Act as a senior finance leader across the group, bringing calm, structure, and clarity.
Provide leadership, support and development for the Finance Manager and any future finance hires.
Translate financial data into clear, commercial insight for non-finance stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a Finance Director / Financial Controller / senior finance role.
Experience overseeing multiple entities within a group structure.
Strong background in statutory accounts, year-end submissions and compliance.
Commercially minded, with experience supporting high-growth businesses.
Confident building forecasts, budgets, and financial models to support scale.
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
Strong communicator who can work closely with founders, senior leaders, and operational finance teams.
Essential / Strongly Preferred
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)10+ years' experience in senior finance roles (FD, Head of Finance, FC in a scaling business)

Experience in owner-led / founder-led businesses
