Finance Director Needed in the Ripon Area

• Basic Salary up to \xc2\xa3100,000 depending on experience.
• The role comes with a company car.
• This is an Automotive role, yet non-Automotive. candidates are also strongly encouraged to apply.

Our automotive client in the Ripon area is looking to recruit a finance director to join its team.

The responsibilities of the Finance Director:

• To ensure sound and appropriate financial governance and risk management of financial arrangements and actively contribute to the direction of the business.
• To provide senior financial leadership and be able to use your experience to improve the performance of the department.
• To lead by example with the quality of your work.
• To help train and develop members of the department.
• To be responsible for the operational line management of the finance function and managing all the financial accounting and transnational finance for the business, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and reporting is timely and in line with required annual financial returns.
• To monitor financial performance and have a detailed understanding of the financial performance of the business and its different sites.
• To drive change within the finance operation of the business, increasing efficiency and therefore profitability.
• Use analytics skill to drive the business forward.

Requirements of the Finance Director:

• You will be qualified to AAT level or higher.
• You will have experience working at this level or as a Group Financial Controller.
• Your professional background does not need to be automotive for you to be successful - applications are encouraged from all sectors.
