Job Summary

The Director of Finance will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the organisation, which owns and operates 5 care homes in the Teesside area . This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial management and accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance organisational performance. Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure accurate financial accounting and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Manage accounts payable processes to ensure timely payments and maintain positive vendor relationships. Monitor cost control measures to optimise resource allocation and improve profitability. Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives. Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management and stakeholders, offering insights into financial performance.
