Job Description

Core Duties:

Accounts Payable and Receivable Contributing to month-end reporting packs Admin and monitoring Imports & Exports logs and records for customs and trade compliance. Supporting regular reviews with all parts of the business re: customs compliancy Developing your knowledge of financial systems and processes Analysing data and identifying issues Working cross-functionally with other teams Working with stakeholders at different levels across the business Maintenance and development of financial controls Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, accounting & finance standards, as well as audit requirements Building an understanding of drivers of profit and performance Opportunities to be involved in projects throughout the year.

Key Requirements

:

2nd year student, currently studying finance/ accounting degree or business-related degree that allows you to partake in an industrial placement year Analytical, with advanced numerical skills and ability to think outside of the box Attention to detail, performing accurate & detailed work Ability to collaborate, interact & work within a team Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple tasks and projects. o Ability to present data in a clear and structured manner Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills Basic understanding of Microsoft Office software (e.g. Excel & PowerPoint
