Job Description
We are seeking a Finance Lead to oversee and manage financial operations within the reporting function. This temporary role in London requires expertise public sector accounting principles property management.
- Manage and oversee the daily financial operations of the organisation.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Manage STL project budgets and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and improved financial efficiency.
A successful Finance Lead should have:
- Hold a full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and public sector accounting standards.
- Proven experience in financial management and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (D365)
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Competitive daily rate ranging from 450 to 500.
- Hybrid working-2 days in London
