Overview

We are seeking a Qualified and experienced Finance Manager to join our Senior Management Team.

This is a key strategic role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring effective financial management, and providing strategic guidance to enhance the organisation's financial performance.

This position requires strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, and cost control measures.

Responsibilities

Oversee the financial operations of the organisation, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Manage accounts payable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Implement cost control measures to optimise resource allocation and enhance profitability. Develop and execute financial planning strategies that align with organisational goals. Prepare detailed financial reports for Trustees and senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, maintaining the integrity of financial data. Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and drive overall business success.

Skills

Proven experience in financial management within a charity environment. Demonstrated expertise in accounts processes and cost control strategies. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. Proficient in financial planning and analysis, with strong analytical skills to interpret complex data. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration across all levels of the organisation. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
