In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Business Partner the Business Development team with costing new and existing schemes / fee packages
Document, standardise and automate costing processes across multiple legal entities
Utilise CareCubed software for pricing analysis and to evidence increase requirements
Identify legacy fee issues and opportunities
Business Partner the Credit Control function to support timely query resolution
Provide support, coaching and development to a small team, supporting with uplift process and reporting
Support annual uplift negotiations with funding authorities
Ensure standardisation of revenue and uplift recognition and reporting across Regions
Seek best revenue recognition & costings practice across Group to improve data integrity and to drive process standardisation
Identify increased care requirement, contingency or PBS input and ensure funding agreement is sought and reflected in agreed fees
Reconciliation of different revenue streams vs invoice value and cash received identifying issues and appropriate resolutions
Align costings to approved Business Cases, identify risks/opportunities and any variances that will impact profitability
Identify opportunities to improve P&L performance
Requirements for this role:
Accountancy qualification - studying towards or qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
Proficiency in financial systems and advanced MS Excel.
Strong commercial and analytical mindset
Proven history of implementing and improving systems/processes
Excellent communicator with the ability to succinctly summarise financial information in an easy-to-understand manner for various stakeholders
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to work cross functionally with both finance and non-finance.
