Job Description
As a Finance Manager, you will oversee financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance within the Business Services industry. Based in Crewe, this permanent role offers a chance to lead accounting processes and drive financial strategy.
- Prepare and manage financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with auditors as required.
- Manage cash flow, cost controls, and financial risk assessments.
- Supervise and mentor a team within the Accounting & Finance department.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support operational efficiency.
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Studying towards ACCA/CIMA - Essential
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis - Essential
- Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to accounting processes.
- Excellent leadership skills to manage and guide the Accounting & Finance team.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
