We are a growing design and manufacturing business seeking a capable, hands?on

Part?Time Finance Manager

to take ownership of our finance function. This is a stand?alone role in a 15?person company, reporting directly to the Managing Director, and covering all day?to?day finance activities.

Hours:

15 hours per week (3 days/week, 5 hours/day - flexible working pattern considered)

Location:

Birmingham (on?site)

Salary:

Competitive, pro?rata (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the company's finance function Maintain accurate financial records using

Xero

Prepare monthly management accounts, cashflow reports, and forecasts Oversee and process payroll for all staff (Xero payroll) Handle VAT returns, HMRC filings, and statutory compliance Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations Support the Managing Director with financial planning and budgeting Liaise with external accountants and advisors

About You

Proven experience in a similar stand?alone finance role (Finance Manager / Company Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper) Confident in managing the full finance cycle from transaction entry to reporting Proficient in Xero accounting software Knowledge of UK payroll processes and HMRC compliance Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of finance processes Experience in SME/manufacturing environments is a plus
