Are you a part-qualified / finalist ACCA / CIMA Accountant? With a background in management accounting and experienced in cash-flow management? Ambitious, hard-working and eager to join a fast-growing Sports start-up? As a result of growth, we are partnering with a unique Sporting start-up that is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to work alongside the CFO and take ownership of the finance function. Based at their impressive Hammersmith, London offices - this is an opportunity like no other, suited to someone who\'d thrive in a varied, project-based environment. Reporting to the CFO, the role of Finance Manager is an end-to-end role offering exposure to C-suite, Board and investors. The right person will be able to build out the finance team around them in the future and shape the finance function during a pivotal time for the company.
What will you be doing?
- Ownership of the finance function, including monthly management accounts, administration of PO system, processing purchase and sales invoices
- Preparation of annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts
- Annual audit
- Weekly cashflow forecasting
- Business partnering with heads of departments to ensure spend is managed in line with set budgets
- Ad hoc reporting to investors
