Finance Manager

Join BMG\'s dynamic finance team and be a crucial part of our growth journey. As we continue to expand through acquisitions, we are seeking a talented Finance Manager to assist in the acquisition accounting and integration process, ensuring seamless financial operations across our UK companies. Please note that this position offers a 12-month contract.

What You\'ll Be Doing.

Integration of UK Company Acquisitions.

Dive into the completion mechanism process, ensuring meticulous documentation supports all final balances. Align these with the Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) and ensure compliance with local UK tax regulations.

Collaborate in preparing Group reports on opening balances, prepacks, and Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) reporting for the month-end purposes.

Restructuring of UK Companies.

  • Master the art of reconciling client balances, meticulously creating new ledgers to facilitate future automation.
  • Ensure statutory balance sheets are impeccably reconciled and consistent with strategic plans.
  • Partner with the treasury and royalties teams to guarantee that every penny flows correctly, maximizing income recognition and minimizing oversights.
  • Work in close harmony with Group teams to ensure a seamless transition and reporting process.
  • Forge strong liaisons with royalties and supply chain teams, overseeing the accurate transfer of processes, complete with an audit trail to ensure business continuity.
  • Offer support in crafting booking instructions for operational finance teams to facilitate the month-end close process.
  • Ensure that all accounting processes adhere to IFRS standards.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external auditors, providing them with necessary information to ensure spotless audit reports.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building strong relationships.
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA, with a track record of excellence in your field.
