Finance Manager | Central Manchester with Hybrid Working | Construction

The position is reports directly to the Financial Controller, a high calibre individual who has created an excellent work environment whereby you have ample opportunity for career development.

With a blend of financial accounts, management accounts and commercial accounting, this is the perfect type of opportunity for an ACA Qualified Accountant to step into a broad role that leverages your technical skillset, whilst giving you wider exposure across the finance structure.

Salary: Up to \xc2\xa355,000

Location: Central Manchester

• Produce month end P&L and balance sheet including completion of all balance sheet recs, review of fixed asset register, overhead reporting and oversee closure of ledgers.
• Responsible for VAT, corporation tax returns and any communication with HMRC.
• Collaborate with colleagues on the monthly reforecasting associated with the 5-year business plan.
• Review and analysis of actuals, forecasts, and budgets.
• Produce the monthly board pack for review by the FC and presented to the CFO and CEO.
• Produce the end of year pack to auditors under FRS 102 and oversee the annual accounts.

Person Specification:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified.
• Experience working in Construction is preferred, but not essential.
• Career focused with an ambitious mindset.
• A high attention to detail and high standards.
• Clear communication skills, managing different relationships across the business.
• Desire to work in a fast paced work environment.
