About you




Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for financial compliance and team leadership? We're seeking a Finance Manager to oversee transactional finance and support our transformation journey. If you're motivated by developing teams, strengthening controls and driving efficiencies, we'd love to hear from you.


What will you be doing?




Manage the team - lead the full month end process working across the team as necessary. Oversee year end and audit process including managing the external audit process through to signing of the accounts. Banking relationship management, ensuring finance interfaces are used to their full capacity to support automation. Oversee all transactional finance including payments and receipts. Prepare all grant claims for sign off by the Finance Director. Set operational targets and provide assurance over all transactional processes (including assurance over budget holder compliance). Lead on continual process improvement and automation.

What we're looking for:




Significant experience in a similar level role Skilled in leading and motivating teams Qualified or part-qualified accountant Experienced in AP, AR, payroll and VAT Process improvement mindset Experience of membership organisations or sport's governing bodies
