Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract starting in the New Year 2026. This role is responsible for managing daily finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial processing, and supporting the Finance Director with reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

Manage supplier payments and invoice approvals using the Paperless system. Oversee franchisee invoicing and collections via GoCardless. Complete purchase and sales ledger reconciliations. Monitor cash flow and update the Finance Director daily. Review and verify payroll data; process salary payments via HSBC. Support month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting. Maintain accurate financial records and address supplier or franchisee queries.

Requirements

AAT qualified or part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA desirable).

Previous experience in a finance or accounting role.

Strong understanding of reconciliations and payroll processes.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.

Experience using Paperless, GoCardless, or HSBC Net (preferred).
