Job Description
I am working exclusively with an ambitious and growing business on the outskirts of Horsham to recruit a qualified accountant.
They have brand new purpose-built offices and they are now in a position to recruit their first finance hire within the business as the look to make the move away from the use of external accountants.
You will be working closely with a sharp and dynamic Director and your role will be focused on day-to day accounting matters, inclusive of...
- Preparing monthly management accounts with commentaries
- Preparing Payroll
- Statutory accounting
- Purchase/ Sales Ledger (inclusive of Credit Control)
- Bank Reconciliations
- VAT Returns
This said, the ideal candidate, WILL:
- Have at least 4-5 years' experience in the above duties (be this in industry or practice)
- Be a team player and be confident in working closely with others
- Be fully ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified (though those at a "finalist" level may also be considered)
- Have used Xero previously
- Have experience and/or knowledge in VAT, Payroll and management/statutory accounting matters
- Drive and own a car
- A role within an ambitious business, which is likely to evolve as the company continues to grow
- Free parking on-site
- Favourable hours of 9-5
