Job Description


As Finance Manager, your job will be to act as the interface between the finance and non-finance contacts within the Property business whilst liaising with key stakeholders, such as tenants, business partners and strategic suppliers. This role reports into the Global CFO who is overseas.

  • Production of monthly management accounts which are consistent with the accounting and financial policies and procedures of the company
  • Utilisation of newly installed SAP system, such as further developing automated reporting.
  • Working knowledge of and application of CIS, Capital allowance, etc
  • Ensuring all company financial controls are adhered to and any discrepancies reported to Line Manager
  • Ensuring all purchase invoices are authorised in a timely manner
  • Assistance with ad hoc reports as required to complete month end accounts and any other statutory reporting requirements
  • Monitoring activity in company bank account and updating cash flow reporting.
  • Reconciliation of the balance sheet with a high degree of integrity, ensuring consistent with the accounting and financial policies and procedures of the company
  • Support in the preparation & review of annual budgets
  • Support statutory reporting and managing of external audit
  • Production of ad hoc management information as required to support management decision making
  • Explore, suggest and where agreed, implement efficiencies in processing, workflow and administration
  • Undertake any other duties as reasonably required
A genuine opportunity to work autonomously, reporting directly into the CFO|Exposure to some really interesting commercial projects
  • Qualified accountant (ACA) - 1 year PQE in a finance role
  • Strong accounts background with experience in balance sheets, cash flow, capital structure and ledgers.
  • Property-industry specific knowledge desirable
  • Ability to plan and organise, working to tight deadlines
  • A team player able to perform to a high standard and deliver an extremely high level
  • Accurate with attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to work and adaptable to thrive in a changing environment
  • IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self starter, confident to work alongside small close knit team and feel comfortable challenging senior operational personnel

With around \xc2\xa3140 million worth of property assets, they work closely with their sister company to manage the properties within their portfolio. They are also looking to carry out re-development on some of their properties.
