SALARY: 36,000 - 40,000 (Band 4)


WORKING DAYS: Monday to Friday


HOURS: 36 hours (average) per week (full-time 9 day working fortnight). Or part-time (minimum 3 days per week)


WORKING MODEL: Hybrid home and office based

Resonance is a social impact property fund manager that is transforming the relationship between private investment and social good. To help us continue this journey, we are looking for a Finance Manager to join our expanding finance team on a permanent basis.


We have offices in Manchester, London and Bristol; the finance team is based at our Head Office in Launceston, Cornwall.

HERES WHY WE NEED YOU PURPOSE




Due to the continued success and ongoing expansion of our property funds, we are looking for the 6th member of our finance team. This role reports directly to the Senior Funds Financial Controller (Property Funds) and will help to provide financial and technical advice to the property funds team on a regular basis.

HERES WHAT YOULL DO FOR US RESPONSIBILITIES



Prepare Quarterly Management accounts for each of the property funds Complete financial inputs and commentary for our Quarterly Investor reports Maintain monthly cashflow forecasts for each property fund in consultation with Property Fund Managers and other key stakeholders Manage ad-hoc reporting to investors Manage payments to and drawdowns from investors, in line with legal agreements and the structure of each fund Assist Senior Funds Financial Controller with various projects and planning exercises to manage and report on the financial performance of each property fund

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING TO US



Financial accounting experience and an up-to-date knowledge of UK accounting standards and principles. Whilst you do not have to hold a professional qualification, you must be able to demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge of current accounting regulations Experience of preparing management accounts to meet internal and external deadlines An ability to explain the numbers, pre-empting questions and highlighting potential issues Able to prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts projected forward for multiple years depending on the fund lifecycle Great Excel and MS Office skills will be needed, although additional training will also be provided Must be able to communicate effectively with non-finance team colleagues Excellent attention to detail, diligent and inquisitive, not giving up despite obstacles. Must be a team player, enjoy collaborating with and learning from other finance team colleagues Up for a challenge and willing to help find the solution; we are innovators so you must be comfortable with change. Mainly the finance and property funds teams, but also other Resonance teams, investors, housing partners and external advisers.

Resonance is a growing company, so youll need to enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment. This role will require you to work with colleagues who are based around the UK, so you will be communicating via Teams (a lot). We do encourage people to work in our offices as much as possible, currently minimum of 1 day per week, and the whole company meets up once a year for a 2-day off-site event.
