Overview

We are seeking a motivated Finance Manager to join our small dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in financial management and accounting with experience of an accounting package such as Xero. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of Sussex Yacht Club at an exciting time in its development.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Manage a small payroll monthly Develop and implement financial planning strategies that align with the Clubs goals and objeectives. Monitor and control costs to control and improve operational efficiency. Supervise accounts payable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Prepare detailed financial reports to provide insights into financial performance and trends. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for decision-making.

Qualifications

Some experience in a small business finance function. Experience of successfully operating as part of a small team.. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in financial planning tools and software applications.
