About the Role
The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health of the organisation and providing strategic financial guidance to the CEO. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Finance Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives, optimise financial processes, and contribute to overall organisational success.
Main responsibilities and duties

  • Manage purchase invoices, petty cash transactions, credit card transactions, and bank transactions.
  • Oversee bank accounts, petty cash, and credit card accounts.
  • Maintain a list of sales orders, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Prepare 13-week cash flow projections and actuals.
  • Prepare monthly commission calculations and Statements.
  • Prepare monthly payroll. Year-end P60 & P11D\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Reconcile quarterly VAT returns and submit online.
  • Provide weekly/monthly orders/sales analysis.
  • Assist in monthly management accounts and address CEO queries.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Directly manage and lead the finance team, ensuring cohesion and productivity. Working in conjunction with HR policies and optimising internal HR systems.

Essential skills/ qualification
  • Ideally be qualified in either CIMA, ACCA or ACA
  • 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of financial management
  • Self-motivated and ability to work without supervision
  • Accomplished in interpersonal skills
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Sage
  • Excellent Excel Skills
  • Direct line management experience
