Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The company was set up in 1997. You will have the opportunity to contribute and make an impact on the company being a vital part of the senior team. The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring sound financial management and strategic planning. This position requires a strong background in financial accounting, cost control, and leadership to guide the finance department effectively.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organisation's goals. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Manage financial accounting activities day to day and queries. Month end and end of year accounts. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. VAT returns and reporting Submitting to HMRC All banking transactions, various payments, direct debts and standing orders etc. Conduct regular cost control assessments to optimise resource allocation and reduce unnecessary expenditures. Ensure timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Ensuring all reconciliation of balance sheet accounts is accurate Reconsiling Stock, Goods In, Purchase orders and Purchase ledgers Working closely with the Senior management team, handling a variety of finance and supervisory tasks. Prepare financial reports for senior management, providing insights into financial performance and trends. Collaborate with other departments to align financial objectives with overall business strategies.

Experience

Proven experience in financial management within a similar role is essential. Strong knowledge of financial planning, accounting principles, and cost control measures. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in reporting. QBE/Part Qualified or Qualified accountants.

Mon to Thursday 8:45am - 4:45pm

Fri 8:45am - 1:45pm
