Finance Manager
to join our small but dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong financial management skills who enjoys working in a varied and hands-on role.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the effective, efficient, and accurate management of LWPHomes' finances. You will oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance with company policies, and provide financial reports to the Chief Executive Officer and external Finance Director.
This is a key role where you will not only manage financial processes but also contribute to the smooth running of the office, supporting colleagues when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily financial operations, including purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
Manage payments to suppliers, staff expenses, and collection of resident direct debits.
Ensure all financial documents and transactions are correctly authorised.
Maintain financial systems to support timely month-end and year-end reporting.
Prepare and review financial data, management accounts, and journals.
Liaise with auditors, banks, and external financial services.
Handle Xero entries, petty cash, and amenities funds.
Provide ad hoc support to the office team, including IT, bookings, and general administrative support when required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in financial management, with strong knowledge of accounting processes and procedures.
Proficient in using financial software (Xero experience desirable).
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise effectively.
A confident communicator with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Flexible and willing to contribute to wider office duties as part of a small team.
