Job Description
Grafton Banks Finance has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a company based in Worthing. You will be a key member of the Finance Team with preparing all the aspects of day to day management accounting, as well as advising senior management on where the business is financially, whilst providing a range of internal/external reports for review. Ideally, you will need to be a driven, technically strong accountant who understands the needs of running a business.
- Prepare the monthly management accounts, with added commentary for the parent company and its subsidiary - providing a detailed variance analysis
- Run the monthly/annual cash-flows for the statutory accounts and support within the audit process
- Supporting within the budgeting and forecasting, setting time-scales and collating data for a 1-3 year budget cycle.
- Assist the payroll team in the monthly payroll process- collating employees hours and liaising with an external bureau
- Develop the management reporting system to senior management, which will have a detailed outline of the budgets and how they are presented.
- Strong excel skills and knowledge of computerised accounting systems is also desirable.
