Actual Salary: \xc2\xa310,984 - \xc2\xa312,027 per annum (Grade 3)

Hours: 18:33 per week

Based: The Old Museum, Greaves Street, Oldham, OL1 1DN

Role Overview:

Working within the council\xe2\x80\x99s Heritage, Libraries and Arts (Oldham Theatre Workshop) Service, you will be responsible for the effective monitoring and control of all Oldham Theatre Workshop\xe2\x80\x99s financial activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee all core and project budgets, ensuring appropriate financial monitoring procedures are carried out.
  • To undertake financial modelling and ensure effective profiling and continuous monitoring of core and project budgets.
  • To design and update systems providing a clear and accurate picture of expenditure (and in some instances up to the minute)
  • To manage cash income and expenditure and ensure accurate recording and reporting of all cash transactions.
  • To prepare all short-term contracts providing formal offers of work to a range of professional arts providers.
Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum:
  • Sufficient literacy and numeracy to undertake the tasks and duties of the role.
  • Experience of following financial procedures and monitoring budgets.
  • Analytical skills to collate, investigate and interpret data and other information.
  • Able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service including at different locations
  • Experience of using computer packages for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases, plus using the internet and sending/receiving emails
