To support this commitment, we are seeking a Finance and BI Associate to join our growing team. Job Purpose



This role involves working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, transactional processing, month-ends, and performance data management. You will contribute to streamlining financial and operational data, helping produce actionable performance reports, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial operations. Key Responsibilities



Key responsibilities of the Finance Officer include, but are not limited to, the following:

Processing of accounts payables and accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner. Support the finance team during month-end and year-end close activities by preparing/posting Journals and assisting with reports. Regularly update and maintain financial records in line with internal policies and procedures. Communicate with internal teams and external suppliers and customers to resolve financial queries and ensure smooth transactional processes.

Business Performance Reporting



Collect, clean, and analyse financial data from multiple systems to feed into reporting systems. Assist with the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Excel. Help in automating finance processes, streamlining workflows, and reducing manual intervention. Ensure the integrity, reliability, and accuracy of financial data across all systems, providing stakeholders with trustworthy information.

The Ideal Candidate



We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong interest in finance and data analysis, who lives within a commutable distance of our office at Ashton Court Estate, Bristol, and is looking to work three days a week to maintain a balanced work-life arrangement.

Essential Qualifications:



A fully qualified AAT, or part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA), or a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Good understanding of financial operations (e.g., accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, month-ends, etc.). Basic knowledge of financial systems/software. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to communicate financial and data insights clearly.

Desirable Qualifications:



Working towards full ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification. Experience and working knowledge of QuickBooks. Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) or willingness to learn. Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance.
