Finance Officer

c32k (pro rata for part time)

Due to expansion, The Belsteads Group are looking for an experienced Finance Officer - we will consider part time either 3 / 4 full days or spread across the whole week (minimum 24 hrs pw)

This role will be to oversee the finances of our 3 x children's homes near Chelmsford, and will primarily be working from home (after training period) with occasional visits to site for meetings etc.

The role:



Sales & Purchase Ledgers Manage monthly payroll (80+ staff and growing!) and all related tasks Bank reconciliations Preparation of financial reports Liaising with Management Accountant Providing required information to HMRC Monitor and track expenditure inline with budgetary constraints Working closely with Director, Finance Manager, Operations Manager and internal colleagues in the homes when needed

Experience/person:



Sage Payroll Business Cloud Xero Accounting Excel proficiency Solid experience in a similar role Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
