The Finance Officer will be responsible for overseeing Adigo Care's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency. This role involves managing timesheets, payroll processes, invoicing, and monthly bookkeeping, while reporting directly to the Director. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with all management staff to support the organization's financial objectives.
Working Hours
:
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
:
Timesheet Management
:
Verify and process timesheets for accuracy, ensuring correct recording of hours worked.
Check and approve overtime, holiday pay, and other related payments.
Run timesheet reports to support payroll processing.
Invoicing and Payment Tracking
:
Prepare and issue invoices to clients or partners in a timely manner.
Track unpaid invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain accurate records.
Process and pay all incoming invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting
:
Maintain monthly bookkeeping records, documenting all income and expenditures.
Prepare clear and accurate financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
Identify and report any financial discrepancies or irregularities to the Director promptly.
Collaboration and Compliance
:
Work closely with all management staff to ensure financial processes align with departmental needs.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and organizational policies.
Support audits by providing accurate records and liaising with external auditors as needed.
Additional Duties
:
Assist in budget preparation and cash flow forecasting.
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Undertake ad-hoc financial tasks as directed by the Director.
Experience
Experience
:
1-3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or administrative role.
Proven experience with timesheet management, payroll, invoicing, and bookkeeping.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
Qualifications
:
A degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Part-qualified or working towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional certification is desirable.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with management and report to the Director.
