Hull City Council are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Finance Officer to join the Financial Planning Team.



The post holder will supply a wide range of financial information on a regular and ad hoc basis to managers and senior finance staff. You will assist with the preparation and collation of financial information for budget preparation and in the monitoring and review of all financial operations.



You will assist in the maintenance of financial systems, ensuring the integrity of all financial information with regard to accurate and timely posting of expenditure and income.



To be suitable for the post you will have the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines using your own initiative. You must have the ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to managers and senior finance staff.



A good standard of education including literacy and numeracy skills is essential and ideally you will have AAT level 2 or equivalent qualification, or knowledge gained through previous relevant experience.
