We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting financial reporting processes. Duties
Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments using accounting software such as Xero
Maintain and update financial records through data entry, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organisational policies
Utilise systems like Workday and QuickBooks to process transactions, generate reports, and support budgeting activities
Reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal review and external audits
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations across the organisation
Monitor cash flow and assist in forecasting future financial needs
Experience
Proven experience working with accounting software such as Xero,
Familiarity with Workday, QuickBooks, and other financial management systems is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of accounts payable procedures and general ledger management
Demonstrated ability in data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail
Previous experience within the financial services sector is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Experience in preparing detailed financial reports and supporting documentation
