About the role

This position will play a key role in providing support for the department's externally and internally funded research projects. The role will involve helping to manage the research proposal process and any associated research contract requests. The post will also involve following financial monitoring procedures, reporting and other grant project related tasks, as requested by Principal Investigators, and will be expected to work closely with the Mecheng Finance Team.
About you

You will be educated to A Level or equivalent, or having acquired relevant skills in the higher education administrative settings. Knowledge of financial processes and regulations associated with general financial administration is desirable but not essential as training will be provided during the secondment. You will also have an interest about research funding processes and regulations within a higher education/research environment and excellent knowledge of Excel, including the ability to understand and use numerical formulae.
