Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Finance Officer to oversee and manage the company's day-to-day financial operations and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, producing management reports, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the recording and checking of daily financial transactions and ensure timely reconciliations. Prepare, or oversee the preparation of, monthly and quarterly management accounts and financial reports for senior management. Manage cashflow forecasting, budgeting processes, and variance analysis.o Ensure compliance with HMRC reporting obligations, including PAYE/RTI, VAT, and corporation tax submissions. Monitor internal financial controls, identify process improvements, and implement best practice in financial reporting. Supervise and allocate tasks to finance and accounts staff, ensuring accurate and timely completion of work. Liaise with external accountan
ts, auditors, and HMRC as required.o Support the senior leadership team with financial planning, risk management, and strategic business decisions.

Qualifications and Experience Required

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related subject (or equivalent qualification)
.o Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) is desirable.

Minimum 3 years' proven work experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within a multi-site or growing business. Proficiency in financial/accounting software (experience with Xero is an advantage). Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and team management abilities. Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is essential, to liaise with overseas suppliers and partners.
Additional Information

This role is full-time and based at our London office. The salary offered is 42,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Deadline for the application is 29th October 2025.
