Working closely with the Executive Team and Producers, you'll turn numbers into clear insight that informs decisions across productions and organisational growth. We're looking for a diligent self-starter with excellent attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and a practical understanding of UK financial controls and the funding landscape in the arts/charity sector. Duties
Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments
Manage data entry related to financial transactions using QuickFile accounting software
Maintain organised financial records and ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulations
Reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Liaise with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation
Monitor organisational expenses and optimise cost-efficiency strategies
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickFile
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Experience in managing accounts payable processes
Knowledge of financial services regulations and best practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Ability to analyse financial data and prepare comprehensive reports
Good communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners
Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new systems and software tools
